A legacy in every drop

From the mountains of Guerrero to the world,
every bottle carries generations of resilience, craft, and character.

Born in Guerrero

In the mountains of Guerrero, where mezcal is part of everyday life, a tradition was born not seeking recognition, only survival. Here, agave grows wild, and every step is guided by patience, respect, and time.

THE BEGINNING

Where it all began Over a century ago, when mezcal was still illegal, our story began. What is now celebrated as culture was once forced into hiding.

DON EZEQUIEL

The man who refused to stop Don Ezequiel was one of the first mezcal masters in Guerrero. But his journey was not easy. In a time when making mezcal meant taking risks, his agave fields were burned. His distillery destroyed. And still he never stopped.Because for him, mezcal was never just a product. It was identity. It was life.

RESILIENCE / HERITAGE

A tradition that survived everything Despite persecution and loss, the knowledge endured. Passed down through generations through hands, fire, and earth. Not as an industry, but as a legacy.

FRIENDSHIP

A new chapter begins Years later, two paths crossed. Alex grew up within this tradition. Braulio discovered in it a story worth sharing. And they understood something simple: Mezcal is meant to be shared. That realization gave purpose to everything that came before and became the reason to bring this legacy beyond its origin.
LEGACY

A Legacy That Refused to Disappear

This tradition survived against everything.
A legacy that refuses to disappear What began in silence, what survived fire, loss, and time, still lives on today. Not because it was easy but because it was never meant to fade. Corazón de Dioses exists to honor that legacy, and to ensure it continues in every pour, every gathering, every story yet to be told.
